Meghan + Jordan. Silver Plume, CO

Meghan and Jordan met at Bread Bar in Silver Plume so it was fitting that we start out session there. It's a hidden gem I'm grateful for being introduced to. Plus, the cocktails were amazing and helped start the laughing, which I swear didn't end until sundown. After enjoying a few cocktails, we took a walk to a nearby charming Bed & Breakfast (where they had once stayed,) and later went on a spring snowy hike up to St. Mary's Glacier. There's nothing quite like a light snow to enhance the already stunning atmosphere of Colorado. I feel honored to have documented the love between these two, and can't wait to laugh with them again on their wedding day.

Caitlin + Colin. Boulder, Colorado

Caitlin, Colin and I met for a fabulous cocktail at The Kitchen Upstairs about a month before their wedding. I knew instantly that we were a good fit - Caitlin is a documentary filmmaker and Colin appreciates the art of storytelling as well. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky on their wedding day and I felt the anticipation - as well as the wind - it was, no joke, gusting to 30mph. I began at Colin’s cabin where he made Caitlin treasured coffee from Carrboro Coffee Roasters, the same coffee he made for her early on in their relationship. We had talked about where they wanted to hold their first look - at a spot dear to them in the flatirons. They exchanged vows outdoors, had a view of the flatirons, were warmed by the sun and surrounded by people they love. The Kitchen Upstairs was the perfect setting for their casual yet elegant lunch reception. I feel honored to have documented their love + the moments that unfolded celebrating it. Caitlin + Colin, I’ll photograph you anywhere, anytime. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your day.
